Voice & Speed

These events encompass a variety of features around voice and speed, and can be particularly useful in logging analytics to see the most popular voices and speeds users are listening with, and ultimately how much users are benefiting from the Speechify Embeddable.

Voice Changed

Event name: voice-changed. This event is fired when the current voice is changed; it is not fired on load.

Voice Drawer Shown

Event name: voice-drawer-shown. This event is fired when the voice drawer is opened.

Voice Drawer Hidden

Event name: voice-drawer-hidden. This event is fired when the voice drawer is closed.

Speed Changed

Event name: speed-changed. This event is fired when the current speed is changed; it is not fired on load.

Speed Drawer Shown

Event name: speed-drawer-shown. This event is fired when the speed drawer is opened.

Speed Drawer Hidden

Event name: speed-drawer-hidden. This event is fired when the speed drawer is closed.
